Which poker variants do you deal?
You usually start with No-Limit Hold'em. The more variants you master, the more and bigger shifts you get.
The most played variant: two hole cards, five shared. The basis of every tournament.
Four hole cards and pot-limit betting: calculating the pot correctly is the skill.
Hold'em without 2–5, with adjusted hand rankings (flush beats full house).
Classic without community cards: up and down cards, bring-in and fixed limits.
Rotating games (HORSE, 8-Game): for experienced dealers who know every variant.
Fixed blind structure, breaking and balancing tables, focus on pace and payouts.
Chips represent real money (at partners) or play money (events): rake, stack tops and changing players.
Certificates & paperwork
- Dealer training (internal or external) is a plus
- Valid ID; as a freelancer a business registration
