About Dean Molenaar
Dean Molenaar (born 1999) is a Dutch-language singer from Haarlem who took part in the 2020 SBS6 show 'Thank you for the music', performing 'De glimlach van een kind'. Jeroen van der Boom and Danny de Munck praised him as an up-and-coming, talented folk singer. In 2021 he signed with record label Rood-Hit-Blauw and released the singles 'Rondje Liefde' and 'Alles wat ik wil', with 'Rondje Liefde' becoming a pub favourite. His music features plenty of accordion sounds, of which Dean is a great fan, along with live guitar parts.
