About John Paul Chacon
John-Paul Chacon was born in San José, Costa Rica, and moved to Rotterdam within his first year of life. Raised trilingually in Dutch, Spanish and English, he developed an early fascination with language and music, sparked by hearing an Elton John cassette at age six. He sings in English, Spanish and Dutch, blending musical styles and cultures in his performances. At sixteen he already organised his first sold-out concert, which grew into a career combining live performances with organising his own events, both in the Netherlands and in Spanish-speaking countries.
