About Jorieke Sterken
Jorieke Sterken (Zwolle, 3 January 1999) grew up in Ommen and developed a love of country music from a young age. In 2018 she took part in House of Talent on SBS6, and in 2020 in The Voice of Holland, reaching the battle round on Team Waylon. In 2025 she broke through nationally with 'Vette Boeren' during RTL 4's talent show The Headliner, after which the song went viral on Spotify. The singer from Twente blends 'boerenrock' with country and Dutch-language pop, also releasing singles such as 'Sex Bier Rum' and 'Roxy Trekker'.
