About Justen de Wildt
Justen de Wildt (Ede, 23 September 2003) grew up in a folk-singing family in Veenendaal and knew from an early age that he wanted to become a Dutch 'volkszanger'. He gave his first performance in 2013 and released his debut single 'Vrijheid Is Mijn Leven' at age twelve in 2015. In 2022 he took part in SBS6's De Hollandse Nieuwe. His musical breakthrough came in 2026 with 'Cheerio', co-written by Jeffrey Heesen among others, which quickly gained millions of streams and became his first number-one hit on the Dutch Top 40.
