About Marco Gevers
Marco Gevers from Losser combined years of work as a truck driver with playing trombone in the brass band De Skoemzoegers. After his divorce in 2021 he turned seriously to a singing career, encouraged after winning a karaoke contest on holiday. In 2021 he released his debut single 'Leven, Lachen, Liefde' at The Boom! Music Studio under producer Frank Verkooyen, followed by 'Als Jij Van Een Vrouw Houdt', 'Het Wordt Tijd' and 'Liever Laat Dan Nooit', the latter written by Henny Thijssen. His music is fresh and cheerful, with room for his own trombone parts.
