About Tim Schalkx
Tim Schalkx (born 1 April 1986 in Boxtel) had his unplanned first performance at sixteen during a night out in a café in Boxtel. He recorded his own cover CD and then his first original single. He has now been performing for around twenty years, appearing at venues such as the Skihut Rotterdam and Tilburg, TROS music festivals, and the tribute event for darts player Michael van Gerwen. Known for his pink jacket and après-ski repertoire, he also performs internationally, including at the Cin Cin bar in Gerlos and the Heineken Café on Gran Canaria. Hits such as 'Ferry de roze flamingo' and 'Leve de Après Ski' have repeatedly charted.
