About Wilbert Pigmans
Wilbert Pigmans (from 's-Hertogenbosch) is a Brabant party singer who had worked for years in lighting, sound and as a DJ before breaking through as a singer. He released his first solo track, 'Meisje uit mijn dromen', in 2006 and spent time as resident singer at the Après Skihut Rotterdam. His definitive breakthrough came in late 2019, when together with DJ act Opgeblazen he revived the classic 'De Toreador' (originally by Jacques Herb); the track reached 14th place in the Dutch Top 40 and was streamed millions of times. In 2025 he released the single 'Jij Bij Mij', written with Hugo van de Water and Ralf Smetsers.
