About Wolfgang Saufi
Wolfgang Saufi is the stage alter ego of Eelco Koenjer, born in Mariënheem and living in Raalte. Before going solo he gained experience in bands such as DeLuxe and Die Tolle Leute. As a mock-'German' party artist who speaks Dutch with a German accent, he gives well-known songs a new party beat and has performed at events including Dutch Valley, Radio 538, SLAM! and the Foute Oktoberfest at Ahoy. He has toured the Austrian and French après-ski and Spanish summer scenes. In 2021 he went viral with 'Ich gehe schwimmen', a German version of Mart Hoogkamer's 'Ik ga zwemmen'.
